Item 1. When Sue and Ralph Bowen were here last Tuesday (I can't believe it's already a
week ago!), we came to the conclusion as to the identity of some of the people in the
picture: We feel certain the date is 1923.

Donald Alexander Flanders #5, Sally Flanders (his wife) #6-7, Raymond Beardslee
and his wife Elsie #8, EVF #9, Lyndon Beardslee.

Front row: #1 , kneeling, ? #2 (on the ground, seated) ? # 3, (in front of REF), Helen
Elizabeth Flanders (Ballard) (she would have been going-on-eleven, but was very mature
always) #4 (in front of her) Emily Flanders Beardslee #5, Albert Wellington Flanders
with Nancy Flanders (Balivet) on his knee (Nancy was born April 3, 1918....just past 5 in
this picture) #6-7 (seated) - ? #8. Clare Bosworth Flanders #9 Ralph Norris
Flanders, who would have been just past 5 years old..


Sue of course wonders where she was...but her husband speculates she was running around
as always!

Eunice and Alice, the 1922 cousins, would have been sleeping or with a "sitter" ???? And
your Aunt Helen was expecting Jimmie in September, so that explains her absence....
