Dear Jon
Your messages are all well received and appreciated....I'll be in touch
with Jamie about his continued story...I'm very happy to have the pictures
of Rhys and his introduction to Hartwick...
And I've started on the task of identifying some of the subjects of your
Reunon pictures. I've gone as far as #17 and offer here my
additions/corrections.
#2: Next to Alex Lindop is his wife Colleen. And Jennifer's husband's
name is NOT the same as mine: The masculine form is with an i instead of an
e - FrancIs. All my second and third generation connections seem to be
confused on this matter, and they are not alone....It is getting to be more
and more common. But you know how it is with anyone's name: it's a
personal and important item, so getting it right is prime.
#3 - From l to r: Eric Salsaa, with Greta, (hidden) Kate Flanders Ryan
(Steve's daughter), Andrew Ryan her husband
with their son Jack, Anna Balivet Jordan (Rob's daughter), Kate Beardsley
Chipman (Chris' daughter), Mary Beardsley Fenn (Aunt Anna's daughter).
#4 At the table with Lois, MaryClare Bissell, Chrissy Lindop, Esther
Nemethy. At the next table nearest the end, Bill Fenn, Mary's son. Way
at the back, near the window, Greg Berner (husband of Jenanie Balivet Roer's
daughter Heather), Ed Jordan (Anna Balivet's husband) with their daughter
Helen and son Darius. Next to Richard Bissell at the table is Max Ziff. I
won't try to spot the others....
#5Between Vicky LIndop and Isaac Bissell is (I think) Christie Holmes,
daughter of Mary Lindop Holmes.
#6 It's Aaron (not Erin) Lindop at the table with Darrel
#7 The full table has l. to r. --Lauchie Johnston, Jennnifer Balivet
Johnston's son; Matthew Degel, Richard's oldest,;
Allison Degel, his sister; at the end of the table either Tamsin Flanders
(Nick's daughter) or Sarah Jane Holmes; the two boys next are (I think)
Aaron Balivet (Toby's) and Ross Johnston. I'm not sure about the lad at the
other end of the table.
#9 At Toby's right is Nancy-Jean Seigel (please note that her name is EI,
not IE) and at his left are Rickey Flanders (in stripes) and Ralph and Sue
Bowen. Standing against the wall is Kate Beardsley Chipman. At the far
table are Betsy Beardsley, Steve Flanders (Jim's son), Helen Ballard Sagan,
Steve Flanders the MC, DougRoper, Bill Beardsley, and Jeannie---hidden.
#10 The lady in pink at the far table is Ruth Gray Pratt with her son
Brad; she is the daughter of your grandfather's favorite "double cousin"
Molly Flanders Gray. The white-haired lady beside her is Susan Donnelly,
connected with another double cousin - but I've forgotten just how.
Next to Morty Ziff is Sue Anne Converse, a cousin from the
Gilfillan side of the family. Your Aut Euice is in the foreground having a
up of coffee!
#11 Next to your Nancy is Barbara Clarke and Lisa Balivet, Rob's wife.
Behind Barb is Mzx Ziff. At the table nearer to the camera are (again rear
view!) your Aunt Eunice, Tony Converse, your father and Sue Anne.
#13 Between Francis Lindop and Chris Lindop are their sister Mary Holmes
and husband Tom
#14 Next to Jamie is MaryClare Bissell; then Rajani Flanders, dau. of Tony
Flanders and Carla Procaskey (Peter Flanders son). Lois is talking with
Chrissy Lindop, Chris' lively little girl.
#15 (l. to r.) Michael Claghorn, son of Anna Beardsley's daughter Connie;
Lt. Morgan Roper (Jeannie's dau.) The man standing is "kitchen" helper
Mitchel Matulonis. Next, Tim Lindop, Thad Balivet (Rob's) Bill Fenn
((Mary's) and a rear view of Bill Ballard.
#16 - the last one for the present - The boy in the green shirt is (I think)
Toby's Adam. You've identified the girl at the end as Robin Lindop I
believe; next to her but sort of out of sight is Merrick Johnston, then
Tuesday Lindop (Alex's) and Chris Degel (Richard's) and Susan Donnelly's
granddaughter Jackie Bruleigh.
Quite a workout! I won't absolutely guarantee all the young ones, but I do
have my table seating list as a help in knowing who is SUPPOSED to be
more-or-less where!
I'll give you another batch in a day or two, I hope.
Meanwhile again my thanks for some great shots. You really have captured
the spirit of the occasion!
Love - Tante
